In 1962 Miss Isobel took over the Granzow Academy and the studio became Stewart-Johnson in 1964. The tradition of dance excellence continues along with Miss Isobel, Kimberly Johnson-Spolitino, her daughter and an extremely dedicated staff.
Many Stewart-Johnson graduates have gone onto professional dance careers abroad, in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and as Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Show. Some have opened their own successful dance studios as well. Whether looking for a dance career or "dancing-for-fun," her students are inspired by her and her talented staff.
Each spring the school presents an Annual Revue, competes in various competitions and occasionally holds special events.
