Jing Jia "Raine" Qian-Jeffries started her dancing career at the age of seven and moved to the Shang-Hai Far East Ballet School six years later. At 15, she attended Victoria College of the Arts in Melbourne Australia where she received her degree.
As well as teaching ballet at Stewart Johnson, Raine is a professional dancer for The Atlantic City Ballet (ACB). She has been with ACB since 2006 and is currently a Principle Dancer for the company. She also teaches Chinese at the Hua-Xia Chinese School and directs their competition dance team.
