As the daughter of Miss Isobel, Kim grew up in the dance world. Beginning at the age of 3, she eventually studied in New York under such prestigious teachers as Charles Kelley, Joe Lantieri and Frank Hatchett, to name a few. She also attended the American Ballet Theatre School and performed with their company in "La Sylphide" at the met.
Kim's professional career began at age 16 when she performed as soloist with the group "Menudo" at radio city music hall. She then toured the United States, South America and Puerto Rico with Menudo. Kim then added the following shows to her resume: "Sugar Babies" (with Carol Lawrence and Rip Taylor) - Harrah's casino, Atlantic City, "Abracadabra" - Aladdin Hotel, Las Vegas, "Hollywood to Broadway" - The Castle, Atlantic City, "Legends in Concert" - Ballys and Claridge Hotels, Atlantic City and many other shows. She also choreographed numerous shows for the sands, Claridge, Ballys and Tropicana Hotels in Atlantic City. One of many highlights was being a member of the dance group "Fusion" - $100,000. Kim is a sought after teacher/judge across the country and her prize winning choreography is well known.
She is a proud member of Dance Masters of America, Pennsylvania chapter 25 and New York City chapter 26. |
